Chocolate Drizzled Frozen Grapes

Ingredients

For 4–6 servings (about 2 cups grapes), use these items:

  • 500 grams seedless red or green grapes (washed and completely dried)
  • 150 grams dark chocolate (60–70% cocoa), chopped or chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or neutral oil (helps chocolate stay smooth and glossy)
  • Optional: pinch of sea salt, crushed nuts, or sprinkles for topping

Direction

  • Step 1: Wash grapes thoroughly under cold water. Pat them completely dry with paper towels—any moisture will make chocolate seize or not stick properly. Remove from stems and place in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze grapes 1–2 hours until firm.
  • Step 2: Melt chocolate and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl: microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring after each, until smooth and fully melted (or use a double boiler on low heat).
  • Step 3: Remove frozen grapes from freezer. Dip each grape halfway into melted chocolate using a fork or skewer, letting excess drip off.
  • Step 4: Place dipped grapes back on the parchment-lined sheet. If desired, sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt, crushed nuts, or sprinkles on the wet chocolate.
  • Step 5: Freeze again 20–30 minutes until chocolate sets firm.
  • Step 6: Transfer to an airtight container or freezer bag. Store in freezer up to 2 weeks. Serve straight from freezer—enjoy the icy grape crunch with melty chocolate.
